2025 has come to an end, and it’s time to look back.
For Magma, it was a year that started rather painfully, with a lot of tough and radical decisions to make. At the time, it was difficult to move forward and see things clearly.
With hindsight, those decisions proved to be necessary and even salvational.
Today, I feel we’ve never steered the ship better. I can’t help but think that we should have put all of this in place earlier.
The summer was a moment to step back, regain perspective, and move forward again. We’re closing the second half of the year profitably, with solid foundations, clearer direction, and much stronger control over what we do. A good way to close the year, with promising perspectives for 2026.
On a personal note, my 35th year was marked by the launch of Locoworking — a coworking space in Paris’ 20th arrondissement.
Welcoming our first members and seeing people come to work in our space every day has been incredibly rewarding. Building a physical place, offering a local service, and bringing a long-standing idea to life has been deeply fulfilling. I’ve had this project in mind for over five years, and I didn’t expect it to be this gratifying once it became real.
Finally, on a more personal level, these past 12 months were marked by getting back into sport seriously (strength training and swimming), and — for the first time in my life — truly taking control of my nutrition.
It’s been a game changer. I don’t think I’ve felt this fit in a very long time.
